We formulate and manufacture liquid tinctures – alcohol-based and glycerin-based – for supplement brands, pharmacy chains and distributors across 40+ countries, on dedicated liquid production lines inside our own EU GMP-certified facility.
Alcohol-based tinctures – higher extraction efficiency for certain botanicals, longer shelf stability, traditional format for herbal concentrates.
Glycerin-based tinctures – alcohol-free, suitable for children’s formulas and consumers avoiding alcohol-based products, with a milder taste profile.
Herbal tinctures – botanical extracts including ashwagandha, echinacea, elderberry and other adaptogens and immune-support botanicals from our standard ingredient range.
If your formula sits outside these categories, share your brief and our R&D team will confirm fit.
Tinctures suit concentrated botanical extracts where a small, precise dose matters more than a large serving size – a few drops under the tongue or in a drink, rather than a full shot or syrup. They also suit actives that extract more efficiently in alcohol or glycerin than in other liquid carriers.
The trade-off is regulatory: tinctures – particularly herbal formulas – carry market-specific restrictions on permitted ingredients, concentration limits and labelling that vary considerably across the EU.
Contract manufacturing runs your specification on our equipment, through our QC, out the door under your label.
Our in-house R&D team develops custom tincture formulas from brief through pilot batch, including extraction base selection and concentration testing.
Permitted ingredients, maximum concentration levels and label requirements for herbal tinctures differ by country – what is compliant in one EU market may not be in another. Our regulatory team reviews destination-market requirements during the feasibility stage and confirms what documentation each market needs before a formula moves into production.
Share your format, indicative volume and target markets and we will come back to you within a few business days to confirm receipt and let you know what we need to prepare a full response. Pricing, capability details and a fit assessment follow as soon as we have reviewed your brief.
Alcohol-based tinctures generally extract certain botanicals more efficiently and offer longer shelf stability. Glycerin-based tinctures are alcohol-free, suit children’s or alcohol-sensitive formulas, and have a milder taste. Your R&D contact can advise on the right base for your formula.
Tinctures are currently available through contract manufacturing and custom formulation. Speak with your project manager about availability for your formula’s category.
MOQ varies by formula and concentration and is confirmed during the quote, typically from around 5,000 units. Pilot batches are available for new formulations.
Approximately 10–12 weeks from purchase order for an existing formulation. Custom formulation adds development time – confirmed per project.
The same full testing stack as our other liquid formats: heavy metals, microbial count, potency, identity and allergens. Not every test applies to every product; what’s required is agreed with you upfront and confirmed in the specification.
