Certified to the Standards European Retailers and Pharmacies Require

Every facility we operate is independently audited and certified. Every certification listed here is issued and renewed through third-party audits – not self-declared. Full documentation is available for review before you commit to anything.

Our certifications

Independently audited. Regularly renewed. Available for review.

Not every certification matters equally to every buyer. A pharmacy chain will look for ISO 13485. A major retailer will ask for IFS. A brand entering a regulated EU market needs GMP. The full list is here – with plain-English explanations of what each standard covers and who typically requires it.

EU GMP

Good Manufacturing Practice – the pharmaceutical manufacturing standard. All Noviatic facilities, processes and products meet EU GMP requirements. The foundational certification for any manufacturer supplying regulated markets.

ISO 9001:2015

Quality management system certification. Demonstrates consistent processes, continuous improvement and reliable output across the organisation. Independently audited.

ISO 13485:2016

Medical-device quality management system. The standard required by pharmacies and clinical buyers from their manufacturing suppliers. Validates that our quality systems meet medical-grade requirements.

GDP

EU Good Distribution Practice. Covers the safe, hygienic and product-appropriate storage and distribution of health products throughout the supply chain.

HACCP

Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. Food safety hazard analysis built into every production line and process. Required for all food supplement manufacturers supplying European retail.

IFS

International Featured Standard for food. Required by major European retail chains and pharmacy groups as part of supplier qualification. Audited against global food safety and quality benchmarks.

Non-GMO / Organic

Available on request. Organic certification is maintained through EcoAgros. Brands requiring certified organic or Non-GMO production can access these through our standard manufacturing process.

Halal / Kosher

Work in progress.

What certifications mean for your brand

Every certification your buyers will ask for. All held in-house.

Certifications exist for two reasons: they protect the integrity of the product and they protect the brand selling it. When a supplement brand, pharmacy chain or distributor chooses a contract manufacturer, the certifications held by that manufacturer are inherited by every product that leaves the facility.

In practice, this means that a brand selling into a pharmacy chain that requires ISO 13485 compliance from its suppliers does not need to build that compliance itself – it comes from choosing a manufacturer who already holds it. The same applies to IFS for retail, GMP for regulated markets and GDP for distribution.

We hold these certifications because the brands we work with need them and because maintaining them requires us to operate at a standard we would apply regardless.

Common questions

What brands ask us about our certifications.

What is the difference between GMP and ISO 13485?

GMP governs the manufacturing process itself – how production is run, monitored and documented. ISO 13485 is a quality management system standard that governs the broader organisational processes around producing medical-grade products. We hold both, and they work together as the quality foundation behind every product we manufacture.

Yes. All certifications are maintained through active, recurring third-party audits. Full documentation is available for review at any stage – before you have committed to anything.

GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) means every production run is executed according to validated processes with full batch documentation, in-process monitoring and finished product testing. It is the pharmaceutical manufacturing standard – the same one applied to licensed medicines.

We do not currently hold NSF certification, which is a US market programme. Our EU GMP, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications are the equivalent European standards. For brands specifically requiring NSF-certified manufacturing for US distribution, we can discuss requirements during the quote process.

Pharmacy chains typically require ISO 13485 from their manufacturing partners, along with EU GMP compliance and IFS for food safety. We hold all three. For specific markets – Germany, for example – additional regulatory filings may apply and our team can advise on those.

Yes and No. Organic certification is available through our EcoAgros-certified process. Halal alike Certificate may be issued on request. These are confirmed at the quote stage based on your specific product requirements.
